Hi. My name is Indiana Jones but you can call me Indy. I was born about mid November 2020 and I am growing fast. The last time I was at the vet I weighed over 34 pounds. My ears are standing up more everyday so I look like a German shepherd. I came to the rescue after I was found and no one came looking for me at the shelter so when my time was up they came and got me. I have had fun hanging out but I think its time I had a family of my own.
I am loyal to and protective of "my pack". I like to follow you around and be a part of everything going on. I admit sometimes I worry if you leave. Honestly I can't wait to be with you again. I like to play...a lot! I like other dogs my size or bigger because I play rough with small dogs. Toys rock and so do sticks. Sometimes I have selective hearing and memory loss. Please don't misunderstand I want to learn and could use better manners and training but sometimes I honestly just don't listen. They said I will get better about that with age and training. I am house trained and have been working on walking on a leash.
I have had three rounds of puppy vaccinations, was neutered and microchipped. I am current on heartworm/flea and tick preventative. My adoption fee is 250.00. The first step in adopting me, Indy, is to complete an adoption application at dogsasfamily.org.
