I am Peppermint Pattie but you can call me Pattie. I am four years old and weigh less than five pounds. I came to the rescue with ten other yorkies from a place called a puppy mill. It is a place that everyone there exists to have puppies. Not my idea of a great job so I am glad I got out.
I will be honest I am more of a follower than a leader. I have hid behind and under the other females most of my life. My mom has told me what to do my whole life too. I think it is time to start to live my own life. Can you help me? I am very shy and we would need to work on my people and housetraining skills. You would have to teach me that people can love me and they are safe because I have been raised to believe I am unlovable. If you have another dog that is best for me. I don't feel safe alone or with small children. I would really like it if you had a fenced yard for me to go into when I go outside to potty so I feel safe.
They had me groomed, vaccinated, microchipped and spay. My adoption fee is 300.00. The first step in our new life together is to complete an application at www.dogsasfamily.org. I can't change all in one day, but rather, one step, one breath, one moment at a time. Will you be a part of that?
